Chattanooga, TN – April 19, 2013 – NPR’s Morning Edition featured Jack Richmond’s StoryCorps’ interview entitled, “Losing A Leg, But Gaining A Sense Of Purpose.” Jack is the Director of Sales for Fillauer Companies, Inc.

In 1987, Jack drove a forklift that overturned and landed on his leg. His compassion and resilience motivated Jack to mentor and offer peer support to other amputees. Jack, who has since run the Boston Marathon, became an avid runner and cyclist, and today, he continues to encourage and support amputees locally and nationally.
