Nathan A. Sprunger is the new Director of Clinical Education at Fillauer

Nate Sprunger, MSPO, CP, joined Fillauer Motion Control as an educator in October 2017 focusing on the myoelectric and upper limb line of products, including the TASKA Hand. During his tenure he has presented to universities and traveled to many local and international clinics for device specific training and fitting. In February 2025 he was named the Director of Clinical Education for Fillauer.  

Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on Pathokinesiology. He continued his education, receiving a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics, also from the University of Pittsburgh.

He is a Certified Prosthetist through the American Board for Certification and has been actively involved in research throughout his career, with a focus on prosthetic outcomes and upper extremity systems. before joining Fillauer, Nate worked at Shriners Hospital for Children.

In his free time, Nate enjoys skiing, fly fishing, and mountain biking around the western states as well as being actively involved with adaptive outdoors programs.
