For years, Shane Ellis struggled to walk without chronic pain due to a fused ankle. So when he faced the amputation of that same leg due to an infection, he had low expectations for his mobility goals. But after being fit with the AllPro Foot and Direct Mount Pyramid, Shane is back to enjoying all the things he missed—from serene strolls in the woods to fun-filled days with his kids.
”I can finally explore without limitations,” Shane said, sharing that the AllPro has given him ”life-changing levels of freedom” that allowed him to keep up with his teenage children on a recent vacation that included go-karting, rock climbing, and water parks.
Now, Shane’s crushing his goals, walking 2-3 miles every day and competing in races. ”Running my first 5K after losing my leg, I could not believe how natural it felt to run with my AllPro,” said Shane. ”It’s incredibly adaptive…half the time, I don’t even notice that I’m walking on a prosthetic foot. My AllPro has truly changed my life.”
