The TRS Simulator is the first standardized tool for testing, evaluation, research & teaching of body-powered prosthetic function. The cuff allows for the attachment and positioning a body-powered terminal device on a sound limb. Constructed of lightweight low-temperature thermo-formable and re-formable laminate foam, the device will easily don/doff on a wide variety of arm sizes and circumferences using BOA® cable closure technology. It is a perfect and necessary educational tool for every classroom where prosthetic science and technology are in the curriculum; or in-clinic for patient/peer/sibling testing and understanding of device function. The cuff comes with an easily adjustable Northwestern Figure #9 control harness and cable system, Sure-Lok cable locking technology and interchangeable Hosmer 5XA V/O Split Hook and TRS V/C Grip 3 prehensor. It accepts any USA Standard Terminal Device. It is available in right or left side models.
