HP Hoopster

The Hoopster is molded from a stiff flexible polymer with a dual surface hoop designed to fit the shape and size of a standard basketball. The Hoopster design was conceived of by a bilateral amputee Hector Piccard and is capable of single-handed basketball control. It provides both dorsal and ventral (palmer) ball control surfaces for dribbling, shooting and handling the ball on the court. The built-in stabilizing “heel” helps capture the ball quickly and offers increased accuracy while shooting and the pre-positional lockable wrist angle mechanism can be set to suit the user’s specific needs and functional capability. Lightweight at only 6 ounces the device is great for adolescents through adults with both below elbow and long above elbow hand absence. Universal left or right fit. Color Black.
