I started paratriathlon with the goal of leaving a legacy in Peruvian sports. My positive progress in training has led me to achieve excellent results on the national triathlon circuit. As the first paratriathlete in our country, I was chosen to be the torchbearer for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

Finally, in 2023, I fulfilled one of my dreams: representing my country in an international competition, qualifying for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Lahti, Finland. I also achieved third place in the PC/ID (Physically Challenged/Intellectual Disability) category.

The qualities and strengths that are present in my daily training and in my life are: perseverance, discipline, determination, inclusion, focus, resilience, and empathy.

I consider myself a competitive, hardworking person, seeking to convey a message to society for equal opportunities. Life has taught me to reinvent myself many times and that there are no limitations.

I currently continue to compete in the Peruvian Triathlon Federation’s national triathlon circuit, and my short- and medium-term goals are:

Achieve a Sub-5 finish at the 2025 Ironman 70.3 Peru

A mark that will allow me to qualify for the 2025 Ironman 70.3 World Championship to be held in Marbella, Spain.

Achieve a Sub-3 finish at the 2025 Lima Marathon

A mark that will allow me to qualify for my first major.

Compete in Ironman Wisconsin – SET 2025.

To become the first Peruvian with a physical disability to compete in a full Ironman (3.8K swimming / 180K cycling / 42K running).

Seek to qualify for the 2026 Ironman World Championship
