World Class

Since earning the title of alternate for the Paris Paralympics in Paratriathlon, Kendra has since retired from the sport and moved to Para Standing Tennis. She competed in her  first tournament, the North American Championships, finishing in 3rd place for singles and 1st for doubles.  Kendra’s goal is to help make Para Standing Tennis a Paralympic sport and one day compete at that level.  She is also striving to act as a mentor and bring young players to the game via the Cincinnati Tennis Foundation.

Kendra wears the AllPro foot for her everyday/tennis leg and the Obsidian Sprint Blade for running.  “I’ve found that maintaining my running fitness has helped my endurance for tennis.” 

In addition to her passion of sports, Kendra loves modeling, speaking, writing, advocating for the disabled community, and working as a sensitivity reader.  “My family mans the world to me.  We love traveling, playing sports, sitting in the hot tub and on the hammock, reading, and watching movies together.”
