The Motion Control (MC) Hand sets the standard for rugged functionality. It comes in three sizes and is made with high-strength, CNC machined fingers in either aluminum or stainless steel. It features a wide opening and a built-in manual safety release. The Hand serves as a useful tool for many tasks and lifestyles. For high durability and high speed, a brushless DC motor is used, for a smoother, quieter and more controlled experience. The MC Hand can be used with the Utah Arm, Motion Arm or ProControl 2 system and is interchangeable with almost every industry system available. The MC Hand comes in Motor Direct (no controller, one must be located up-stream) or ProPlus which features a controller inside the Hand allowing interchange with other manufacturers’ systems. FLAG is also available. Fits most high-quality cosmetic gloves. The Multi-Flex Wrist for the MC Hand moves in multiple directions and is spring loaded to the center of travel. The spring loaded centering provides a “natural” feel as the Wrist can flex in any direction as needed to adjust to the loads placed on it, and provides a more comfortable feel versus a rigid wrist. It locks at 30, 0 and -30 degrees of extension. The manual latch mechanism enables or disables the latch. When the latch is enabled, the Wrist is locked in flexion/extension, compliant in radial/ulnar deviation. When the latch is disabled, the wrist is unlocked and compliant in all directions. PDAC Approved. This item includes the MC Hand with an attached Multi-Flex Wrist. Configuration options are available.
