MC Hand with Power Deviation Wrist

The Motion Control (MC) Hand sets the standard for rugged functionality. It comes in three sizes and is made with high-strength, CNC machined fingers in either aluminum or stainless steel. It features a wide opening and a built-in manual safety release serving as a useful tool for many tasks and lifestyles. For high durability and high speed, a brushless DC motor is used offering a smoother, quieter and more controlled experience. The MC Hand can be used with the Utah Arm, Motion Arm or ProControl 2 system and is interchangeable with almost every industry system available. The MC Hand comes in Motor Direct (no controller, one must be located up-stream) or ProPlus which features a controller inside the Hand allowing interchange with other manufacturers’ systems. Force Limiting Autograsp (FLAG) for regulated pinch force is also available. Fits most high-quality cosmetic gloves. The Powered Flexion Wrist provides active wrist extension to 153 degrees and is IPX7 water resistant. The device attaches via an industry standard quick disconnect. The MC Hand is permanently attached to the distal end of the wrist. The controller in the PFW provides proportional control of flexion/extension, a pause at home feature, TD/Wrist switching by co-contraction or fast access triggers, and uses the Motion Control User Interface (MCUI) for configuration. This item includes the MC Hand with a Power Flexion Wrist attached and rotated 90 degrees for Radial/Ulnar movement. Configuration options are available.
