The TASKA Gen2 multi-articulating myoelectric hand is a robust, waterproof terminal device for users with an active lifestyle. The Gen2 has a waterproof quick disconnect wrist that allows submersion past the wrist to the first opening in the forearm. Additionally the wrist has a unique two button release mechanism for easy removal. The encoded laterally compliant fingers and high-speed thumb rotation give the user the precision needed for fine manipulation in everyday tasks. Break-away knuckle clutches deliver durability and robustness not found in other hands. Multiple programmable grip patterns provide quick and confident grasp of objects. The industry standard Quick Disconnect wrist provides interchangeability with almost all in-hand controller terminal devices including the ETD and ETD2. Compliant wrist flexion with 3 locking positions is integrated in the system. The TASKA Hand Kit comes with a 2000 mAh battery, magnetic charge port, wall adapter and car adapter. The waterproof Quick Disconnect wrist requires Taska MC Seal Ring Kit (195-20-004), MC End Cap (3010758), Lamination Collar and Coaxial Plug. Electrodes and electrode cables are not included.
